Holiday Entertaining Spring 18 logo

Hello again all, I am so happy to be back with you today for the Styled and Set Entertaining Tours hosted by Lory at Designthusiasm! I am sharing my Fern and Pastel Inspired Easter table and can’t wait to show you all the details! If you are here visiting from Yvonne’s at StoneGable, I am thrilled to have you – welcome! Yvonne always has something beautiful to share and I am sure you have left feeling inspired…

When thinking about an Easter table setting, I envisioned more of a brunch type meal with touches of spring and lots of greenery.

Of course, I wanted to include bunnies here and there… So I found these adorable napkin holders at Hobby Lobby. I love that they coordinate with the dishware, but add such a sweet element to the spread.

This time around, I kept the centerpiece low to the table and was intrigued by the Christmas settings that I have used in the past, where I would put garland along the center of the table for the focal point. I actually had many faux ferns and branches on hand that I was getting ready to use for a Spring DIY wreath here. But before I started that project, I doubled the use of the pretty foliage and made it work for both projects. This is a great way to save money and double the use on materials if you have two events or projects that can be used close together.

Iridescent flatware accentuates the gold chargers (again, things that I rotate on a regular basis so they get a lot versatile use.

Varying heights of wine glasses bring interest to the table as well…

I continue to collect pretty faux Easter Eggs throughout the years and will usually buy a new set to add to my collection as they always end up on a table during the spring ;)…

This year, I found these iridescent pastel eggs that matched many of the florals I was using, so I quickly picked up a small bag to finish off the look.

Again, while a few pieces were new, most of the table setting was repurposed dining pieces or decor that can easily get incorporated again…

I love having little eggs hiding throughout the greenery. It makes the spread a bit more whimsical and special… The kiddos always love it as well.

Here you can see the simple spread from a wider angle. Again, the bonus of having the low table setting is that it could stay put during the meal without having to be moved for easier conversation.
