I too live in a small 1949 house and our kitchen is even smaller than yours! We do have a wall with a window that right now I have a long narrow table to give extra counter space. I love your idea of cabinets there! I never would have thought of it, thank you!

Hi Tricia! Thank you! I found the metal baskets at the thrift store and then just placed the other baskets inside to make it look a little more interesting. I would love if they did slide out though! Hope you have a good week and see you in a couple days =)…

Thanks for sharing your great ideas for making things work in a small kitchen. Our kitchen is not small, but it’s not large, either! My cabinets and drawers had gotten a little cluttered over the last few years, so I’ve been cleaning and decluttering and it’s amazing how getting rid of a few simple things and rearranging, can make such a difference! I’ll be putting some of your ideas into practice to help even more! 🙂
