Styled For Spring Home Tour – Our Kitchen

Good Morning friends and I am grateful to have you here with me today as I open up our kitchen all ready as part of the Styled for Spring Home Tour!

Welcome to those of you who are visiting from my sweet friend Lucy at Craftberry Bush. Lucy’s talent is breathtaking and I always enjoy seeing how she decorates through the seasons. A very big thank you to our hosts Randi from Randi Garrett Designs and Jennifer from Decor Gold Designs!

I am excited to share how taking some simple steps with the kitchen give it that vibrant feeling of Springtime. The kind that makes you want to breath in the fresh air, open the windows and sit back for the choir of chirping birds outside.

I don’t make huge changes overall, but budget friendly and quick ones that easily turn the space around.

When transitioning our space from the cold months to the ideals of Spring, I really started craving some soft pops of color. This year you will be seeing some tones of pink and blue and of course my favorite neutrals ;).

Just like the season itself, new life emerges from the stillness of Winter – it is a different kind of magical season.

Of course I like to use what we already have and let it evolve to fit the time of year we are in.

I know that the fresh bloom of the season is greeted by fragrant flowers and festive Farmer’s Markets. Oh do I LOVE Farmer’s Markets. I get to take my woven bag and fill it up with all kinds of goodies. The selection of florals is incomparable as are the fruits and veggies.

We often ooh and ahh over the size of berries and veggies that surround booth after booth. Even though Farmer’s Markets aren’t quite happening right now (where we live) they are coming soon and there are some wonderful ways to use these delights as part of your decor.

Flowers make any space come alive. They look pretty in sinks, baskets and of course vases. In this case I even used an antique pitcher.

I sprinkle them around our kitchen as they make me smile any time I get a glimpse.

Then there are the special ingredients that make our homes inviting and call us to stay and visit.

Those juicy blueberries get folded into flaky scones and turn a sunny morning even brighter. I seem to be catching my littles dipping their fingers into the bowl for a taste or ten, ha!

Using produce and flowers to fill it are the details that make it all special.

This season carries hope, it delivers joy and it leaves us with promise. I treasure this season and all it has to offer, striving to enjoy all those beautiful gifts it yields.

Thank you very much for being here today. Don’t forget to visit my amazing friend Kathleen at Lindsay Hill Interiors. She has a kitchen that I have long admired its’ pretty details and I am always inspired by the colors she uses with her designs! Here is a peek down below which includes today’s entire tour!
