How To Put a Valentine’s Day Charcuterie Board!

I’m back with a little more Valentine’s Day inspiration for you! I couldn’t resist joining in on some charcuterie board making as I just think these boards are so much fun, don’t you?! I am joining Ashley from Modern Glam and Janine from Happy Happy Nester to share these creative ideas to make a Valentine’s Day themed board!

I put mine together with things we had on hand (which is another reason to love these boards) and made it with things that my family can actually eat! So I had a chance to make some more of the cookies I shared recently…

To put a put this sweet charcuterie board together, I started by collecting mostly sweet things to add to the spread. I knew because this was Valentine’s Day themed, I also wanted these things to showcase hearts and colors for the season. So that meant fruits, cheese and some cookies/mini cupcakes.

I had some dairy – free cream cheese already, so I simply used a cookie cutter to make it into a heart and topped it with vibrant pomegranate seeds… So pretty! This added a little savory to the board which I think is always a good idea!

The cream cheese makes a good layering component for both fruit and sugar cookies.

Because the board is small, I used mini cupcakes… But you could always use a bigger surface and put out larger cupcakes too!

Fruit was placed throughout and I used the raspberries to sprinkle in places that were feeling bare.

I made heart shaped cookies to pair up with my Linzer cookies (I used the same recipe dough for both the Linzer and sugar cookie hearts, found HERE).

The stacks of cookies make everything that much more sweet and pretty on the board.
