Hello friends! Today’s post was so much fun to put together and I am pretty excited to be joining our host, Lory at Designthusiasm for Christmas Entertaining as part of the Styled + Set Series. If you are visiting from Courtney at French Country Cottage, welcome! Courtney creates the most romantic and magical tablescapes…
So for today’s set up, I chose to make things easy to put together and inexpensive. In fact, this is might just be my favorite type of Christmas table. One that involves greens, candles and pops of gold here and there.
This will probably be the table I recreate and put together for our family Christmas dinner this year as well.
I just love how it takes very little to make something feel special, pretty and inviting.
I pulled out my favorite pieces of dining ware, including brass flatware, gold chargers and my new painted water glasses.
I chose to use my everyday dishes here and they fit in perfectly with the hemstitch napkins.
Mixing the patterns on the dishes, charges, flatware and glasses creates interest and the kind of detail that my decorating heart craves.
And of course, the glow of Christmas twinkle lights behind the table only enhance the whole experience.
Finding the right time to take these pictures was tricky… With all the light our windows give (which is such a blessing here with all the rain) it can kind of take away the ambience of those Christmas lights. So I started taking pictures just before the sun was getting ready to set. It created a warm amber hue over the entire space.
I hope you enjoyed and maybe you will grab some ideas to use yourself as you may be entertaining throughout the season. Please don’t forget to visit my talented friends Kim and Lacey at Styled with Lace . They are a mother/daughter duo and sweet as can be! I have left the rest of the tour listed below for you to enjoy! Thanks so much for visiting with me friends.
