All About Our New Recliner And Modular Couch!

Earlier this year I shared about the addition of our new Homebody Couch and how much we were loving it… I am back to report that we are still LOVING it and recently added a new piece to the set. This particular part of the couch system was what originally caught my attention with Homebody (as I learned more about the company I was smitten with the entire concept). It is a beautiful, modular, electric recliner seat that fits in seamlessly with their modular couch pieces! It is so smart how they designed this stylish recliner and couch all in one!

Let me start by saying, that my husband has requested a recliner for years… Honestly, since we were first married. We just couldn’t find one that fit in with our style and that wouldn’t take up too much space. This is where Homebody came in! I saw a video showing how their modular couches have this incredible recliner piece and I knew right away that this was the recliner we had been waiting for!

It is electric with a wireless remote (it even has a charging dock within the seat), locks into place just like all the other modular pieces. It reclines back smoothly and doesn’t take up unnecessary space because it is part of the couch.

It only needs two inches of space from the wall to recline and 20 inches in front. It also has an adjustable head rest. Since it is modular, you can configure it however you would like in a layout that works for your space.

The pieces work much like the other couch seats. You simply slide things into place.

We are very much enjoying this new recliner and even though it has been my husband’s dream to own a recliner ;), everyone in the house gets a turn to relax in it.

I know I mentioned this before in my previous post, but here are some of my favorite things about Homebody and our couch…

It takes about 5 minutes to assemble the pieces and zero tools! It is seriously that easy.

You simply connect your bases, insert the backs/arms and then layer on the cushions.

Our set is the linen style fabric in the color, coconut. It is a pretty soft white. All of Homebody’s fabrics are made with 100% recycled fabric, ocean plastics and are FSC certified wood. Clearly, our puppy thinks it is cozy too, he is always trying to claim a spot.

There are plush, layered cushions filled with an abundance of sustainable down. This couch is the BEST spot to relax, read a book, take a nap, and watch a movie!

It is also stain -resistant which makes it child and food – friendly. I wanted to show you what I mean, so I spilled some water on here and it repelled right off. My daughter helped me with this experiment and she had so much fun with me trying it out.

I don’t want to forget to mention their ergonomic edgeless design for sturdy support without any sharp angles. Our Homebody has excellent support with neck rolls and that has been really appreciated since we have some neck and back issues. It really does feel like luxury!

Obviously, we are huge fans of our Homebody couch/recliner for so many reasons. I didn’t think we could love it more, but then our recliner arrived and it surpassed our expectations!

The whole system is gorgeous, elegant and comfortable, all while being family friendly. I am sitting here now on our set as I write this post, reflecting on how grateful I am to work with Homebody. They are a wonderful company with a beautiful product!
