Our Spring Home Tour 2020
Our Home With Some Spring Touches!

A Tour Of Our Home During The Spring Season!
Hello again friends, I hope you all are doing well. I have had this post planned for a while now and wasn’t sure how to go about posting during unique times like this. But I want to continue to bring some cheer and inspiration or even put a smile on someone’s face right now. I am going to keep posting in hopes that it is helpful and a place that you can enjoy with practical ideas to use now. As always, I am so grateful to join my friend Krista at The Happy Housie for her spring tours and today I will be showing you how I very SIMPLY decorated this year.

While I would normally grab bunches of flowers and maybe add a new pillow or find something thrifted… This time around, I used a single bunch of yellow tulips and some faux flowers I had already stored in the garage.

My green plants have found their way around the house again and most of them made it through the winter which is wonderful!

This pretty wooden tray sits on our coffee table and is engraved with the word JOY…

It gives me a little reminder each and every time I look down on it.

I have plans to update this room with a new, but old vintage rug and a couple fresh pillows… But that will wait for a bit and until then, I am savoring every bit of our home right now, just as it is.

A place to gather with this little family of mine and make memories through the years.

Those yellow tulips I spoke of earlier… I had the nicest delivery man grab them for me while he shopped then delivered our groceries the other day. Even without all new seasonal decor or big projects, having a small bunch of fresh flowers does wonders for lifting spirits.

Because I was unable to grab all the flowers… I picked through some I had stored in a box.

These snowball hydrangeas were perfect, tucked inside my thrifted vase here.

We actually planted a snowball tree last spring and I cannot wait to see it bloom this spring!

Because I just got too excited about the thrifted vase I had, I moved it to the kitchen to play around with more faux greenery inside of it.

This time, peach branches and a side of faux oranges. I think peaches are my very favorite fruit of all!

Oh how would I love a peach tree planted in our yard one day…

So as you can see, this tour was very simple, really nothing new except some old faux stems and a sweet bouquet of tulips… But I hope it shows you how even the easiest of things make home that much sweeter.

I saw peach branches like that at Michaels and I LOVE them! So pretty! I love decorating with faux greenery so it lasts me all season!
So pretty! I love the touches of bright color. I’ve been cutting greens from my backyard to bring some green into our house.
Your home is always so beautiful. Love your pretty floral touches for spring.
