How To Make a Spider Pillow With Printable!

We have made it through so much fall content around here and this week is going to be a bit more “Halloween” related… I will preface by saying, we don’t go big on Halloween here. I scare easily (lol) and it is just something that we do on a very small scale. But my kids sure love a little spooky fun around the house which is why I do like to get creative in ways that are a compromise and work for us all ;). And therefore I am happy to be joining my friend Kristen at Ella Claire for a little Halloween Printable Hop. My project today is all about dangling little spiders!

Here is what you will need to make this sweet little pillow…

• Printable Fabric Sheets
• A white pillow cover
• Scissors
• Sharpie (optional)

And here is how you will put this pillow together… It’s so easy!

For starters, print the spider out on your fabric sheet (following the manufacture’s instructions.

Then begin cutting the spider out.

I cut mine as close to the line as possible, I didn’t want the fabric sheet showing too much.

Again, follow the manufacturer’s directions on adhering your fabric sheet spider. I positioned mine down a bit so that the spider hung longer (I used sharpie to connect the web later, read on to see how). You could put him up higher or in the center. Whatever makes you happy! Once applied, I chose to draw on a little sharpie extension to the line, because like I said I wanted the web to run longer onto the pillow.

There you have it!

Easy festive project that still looks elegant thrown amongst your pillows. I like it because it looks just like a little striped pillow with a little fun found at the end ;).

And of course you could put a handful of spiders on here too. I am not a big spider fan, so I kept it to a single spider on my sofa, haha!
