How To Do Easy Gift Wrap Without A Bow

Welcome back for the final few posts of this year! After next week I will be taking a nice break till the New Year. So I am enjoying getting to share these last several Christmas ideas with you all! Today I am joining my friends Ashley from Modern Glam Home and Janine from Happy Happy Nester to share gift wrapping ideas. One of my favorite ways to wrap is actually without using a bow and to use some paper as a ribbon too!

This is such an easy way to wrap things up pretty and I am going to show you exactly how I do that!

Clearly, you will just take a simple box present and wrap it in your choice of wrapping paper.

Next I take an amount of different wrapping paper that is long enough to cover the box. I cut a larger strip and fold it on the sides in an inch or so (just depending on how wide I want it to be).

After, I take that long strip of paper, which is now a wide piece of paper ribbon and I tape it onto the box.

Lastly, I tape a piece of real ribbon on top of that. Here I have shown you how it looks on the bottom. Honestly, I don’t worry about it being perfect on the bottom, but you can make it as neat as you want!

And there you have it! This was so simple and such a pretty way to dress up elegant presents!

What I like about this is you can intermix the wrapping and ribbons so easily! You can do a lot of pattern play and make things interesting while coordinated under the tree.

I sometimes will also attach tags, toppers of sorts on the present for extra fun…

It’s always fun how something so messy and time consuming can be so fun when you surrounded by all the ribbon and wrap!
