Hello friends and welcome! I am especially excited to be joining the printable tour today hosted by my talented friend, Kristen at Ella Claire! We are all sharing some free printables that can be used throughout this holiday season and I think you will love what you see as much as I do! Make sure to enjoy them all as they are linked at the very end of this post.
One of my favorite things to do as Christmas nears, is wrap presents. It has always been something that I like doing!
I find the process of folding the paper, taping and tying the bows as I sit in front of my most loved holiday movies a treat that I look forward to each year. It is a tradition I get to enjoy both because of the delight it brings to give gifts and also make them look special for those we love.
Every year I sit on the hardwood floor surrounded by a sea of wrapping supplies….
And as each present reaches completion, it is then time to add the tags.
Sometimes I have used stickers, others I have used ornaments or simply written down names.
This time I sat with my color pencils and crafted up some present tags. I wanted each one to resemble the different types of greenery you will see during the season.
(This is not the best quality photo from my phone but a peek at the “during” of this project =).
Some with seeded eucalyptus, others with traditional firs, one with holly berries and another with a laurel wreath.
I played around with the ways you could use them too. Attached with ribbon and affixed like a button or with an initial hung from the wreath.
They are neutral in nature so that they will easily go with any style of wrap.
They are a perfect way to make your gift wrap a little more fancy and personal. I really gravitate towards those little touches – all in the details.
I hope you will too and I hope you will maybe find uses for these sweet little hand drawn gift tags. And just in case you don’t have a use for gift tags, I am sharing a some other uses.
I found these plastic flat ornaments at Michaels where I carefully rolled and then spread the ornament flat inside. When I printed them I scaled the size down 6% so they would fit. I am also attaching a “Countdown to Christmas” version.
