Candlelit Christmas Table Setting
A Candlelit Table Setting!

How to Simply Set Your Table with Candlelight for Christmas!
I am excited to welcome in December and I hope yours is off to a good start! This week is going be a busy one with lots of fun posts and I can’t wait to keep spreading that Christmas cheer! Today I am joining Lory from Designthusiasm as part of her Styled + Set Series for the Holidays. And that means a candlelit table Christmas setting over here! Welcome to those of you who are visiting from Jamie at So Much Better With Age. Jamie has been a friend of mine for a while now and I just so admire her design and beautiful work!

Like most of the decor I have set this season, I wanted things to remain simple.

I wrapped our gold trimmed napkins in a variety of eucalyptus and boxwood branches. (I will note… I would recommend using faux stems as I can’t guarantee what is food safe and just in case a leaf or too fall into your food).

I like to pull out a variety of shiny glassware. I had these bubble stemmed wine glasses from Thanksgiving and wanted to use them again.

Plain white dishes are really perfect for any occasion in my opinion, as they can be dressed up or down.

Candles and candlesticks really steal the show in this scene.

They cast a pink/auburn glow over the whole scene.

The best part was that I just grabbed these from around the house to create the look…

Most of these candlesticks were thrifted.

And to have a little greenery mixed in, I simply lined a row of mixed greens from the local grocery store.

This was a really inexpensive centerpiece and most of all…

It smelled amazing!

While we don’t get a real tree here at our house, I sure miss that smell because growing up we always had a real tree.

Having real greenery though somewhere in the house makes up for it just a little bit ;).

Anyhow, there you have it! This was an easy table to put together, but felt really special and elegant because of the elements. I hope you enjoyed!

Please don’t forget to go and visit my friend Ann On Sutton Place. She is incredibly talented and kind. I can’t wait to go visit her myself! Thanks so much for stopping by and here is the rest of the tour for you to enjoy!

I am so happy to see someone using fresh greenery! Love the napkin rings and if the eucalyptus is washed—it’s ok! I’m a new follower of your blog!
Such a lovely table and the fresh greenery is perfect. Love the simplicity of the design but elegant at the same time. I’m a new follower to your blog! Love it!
Sorry for the duplication. Didn’t think it went through. But wanted you to know I like your style.
Your table is so beautiful, Annie! Just gorgeous!
Hugs, Jamie
It has been a few minutes but I am still thinking on those gold trimmed napkins!
