How To Make A Holiday Centerpiece With Oranges!

Thanksgiving has come and gone and it was a nice day as a family, I hope that all of you celebrating had a nice holiday too! With Christmas here before you know it, I am sharing some other ideas for the next couple weeks. Today I wanted to show you how I enjoy flower arranging centerpieces with oranges and evergreens for the holiday! I joined my sweet friend Ashley at Modern Glam as well as friends sharing down below!

For starters, here is how I put a centerpiece together in stages…

I picked a soup tureen for the vessel that I actually thrifted! Don’t be afraid to think outside the box when picking a vase!

I usually use a combo of faux and real flowers/foliage. I take two-three small juice cups and fill them with water. I carefully set them into my vase. I do this so that the real greenery will live a bit longer.

Next, I start adding the evergreens (mine were faux) but you could use real if you had some!

Then I begin to layer! I put real eucalyptus into the small juice cups. I fan things out and make it feel a little bigger.

Now comes the flowers! I put them in organically, several here and there… One large one standing on its own. Another small one by itself on the side. Keep it sporadic!

Lastly, I put in what I like to call the accessories! I added some faux oranges I had at home and stems with pinecones!

This centerpiece could stand alone on a table as decor or be the centerpiece for a special dinner occasion.

I love the natural look of it all together. Evergreen branches really make everything just a little more beautiful don’t they?!

In fact, white flowers with evergreens may be one of my favorite holiday combos!

Better yet, half of this arrangement was something I had on hand… Which means it was more budget friendly as well.
