A Cozy Fall Porch Set Up For The Season!

How We Set Up Our Porch For Fall…

Hello and welcome today! I feel that statement is especially true for this post as I share our front porch where our welcome mat sits… It is actually the entrance into our basement living space that we are using, but I am considering this our front porch anyhow ;)! I am excited to be joining Kristen at Ella Claire & Co. to share inspiration for Fall front porches so make sure to check out all the beautiful posts at the end.

We had lots of furniture from our patio at our last home and brought it with us because we knew that we would have this nice patio area that is covered and could be used throughout the next several months.

While there are still things that I would like to do out here, it is slowly coming together! And there is nothing that a few pumpkins and mums couldn’t fix!

I am working really hard here at this temporary space not to spend too much money as we save for our next home… So I budgeted for some mums, an inexpensive welcome mat and grocery store pumpkins…

I was surprised at how much more welcoming everything became just with these few things!

The space is long and narrow so of course we incorporated our fire pit for those cold Autumn nights…

If you look carefully you can see our two furry friends peeking out to say hello, lol…

I had a grapevine wreath on hand, so I hung it and wove some faux berry pieces to give it texture.

I told my husband once we had finished cleaning it up out here and putting things together how much warmer it felt…

It just goes to show how pulling simple pieces together goes a long way and makes things feel cozy…

And better yet these things can be done on a budget or with things that you already have at home!

Now when we walk up to our door throughout the day…

I have a little smile on my face…

It all starts to feel a little bit more like home….
