Soft Hues and Colors For Spring – A Simple Home Tour
And I am back again with all things “spring” today! Are you ready?! I don’t think I can get enough of this season coming up and it is most definitely my favorite season to enjoy. Well, it is tied with summer, lol. I’ve joined Krista at The Happy Housie for the Seasonal Simplicity Home Tours. So let’s jump right in! This year I wanted to stick with soft hues and colors…
Even though spring is easily identified with flowers, greenery will do just fine too! I love to keep it simple with vases filled with faux and fresh eucalyptus. I grabbed the last few bunches at our local store.
I chose to quiet the space with some soft neutrals. I took away most of my black accented pillows and replaced them with tans, ivories and some coral tones.
A girl can never have too many pillows, right?! ;)… You may not believe me, but I have actually donated so many pillows lately. This sectional is huge and I have been keeping less pillows on it and really enjoying the freed up space!
Across the way, I have fresh flowers in a thrifted vase. Both tulips and hyacinths make an easy assortment. Plus, hyacinths smell seriously amazing. I was just commenting the other day that we don’t need air fresheners or candles when we have flowers!
I actually snapped these photos the other day when I was preparing for company. So this is truly what my table looked like that evening. I kept everything basic without going overboard.
Sometimes the littlest details like bee glasses imply “spring” enough without needing much more.
We had a great dinner and good company without too much fuss! A win-win in my book!
And into the kitchen we go where I had some faux eggs (in a variety of shades) and faux flowers here. I wasn’t a big fan of these to be honest. They looked really fake, but I couldn’t find real ones or had the budget to spend more. So these fake guys got the point across, haha.
Everything is so light and bright in the Spring and I just treasure it up so much!
Thanks so much for visiting with me. I hope you will make sure to go visit the rest of the tour down below. And hopefully you have walked away with some ideas to use for this pretty season coming up!

Your pretty neutrals and flowers are perfect for spring. Your house looks lovely, as always.
I’ve been debating having less pillows on our sectional too. Lol. I can’t decide. 🙂 Lovely home as always, girl!
