Gluten/Dairy Free Herbed Boursin Cheese with Cranberry Almond Crackers
Recipe for Gluten/Dairy Free Boursin and Crackers!
How to make easy gluten/dairy free Boursin cheese and crackers!
Hi there sweet friends! I wish I had something cheerful or exciting to write, but I am currently sitting here nursing a nasty cold and planning to head to bed early tonight… So I am going to keep this short and sweet! 😉 I am joining my friends with Kristen at Ella Claire to share all of our fun fall appetizers. Mine is a classic herbed Boursin cheese with festive cranberry almond crackers….
This recipe comes together in just a short amount of time and your guests are sure to enjoy it! Especially those who have gluten or dairy allergies.
Here is what you will need to make this savory appetizer…
For the almond crackers you will follow this recipe and you will add in 1/4 cup chopped dried cranberries and 1 tsp dried rosemary.
For the Herbed Boursin Cheese:
- 2 cartons or tubs of dairy free cream cheese
- 1/4 tsp. majoram
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. parsley
- 1/4 tsp. dill
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic
Here is how you will throw it all together!
Set your oven to 350 degrees and prepare your almond crackers following these directions. Don’t forget to add in the cranberries and rosemary!
I usually roll out my almond crackers to be a square shape, but I wanted these to be a bit different.
I wanted them to be more of a sophisticated rectangular shape…
Set these crackers in the oven for around 10 -15 minutes. I check on them and rotate them as they brown. The outer ones cook faster.
While the crackers cool, prepare the Boursin Cheese.
Simply use a mixer and add the herbs to the cream cheese.
Spoon the cheese out onto a platter with the crackers spread out to enjoy it all together.
There you have it! I hope you enjoy!
