Deck The Halls Christmas Home Tour – Our Bedroom
I am excited to be joining my friends as a part of the Deck the Halls Christmas Home Tour today! A warm welcome to those of you who are visiting here from Sarah at Life on Virginia Street. And a big thank you to our hosts, Jennifer at Decor Gold Designs and Randi from Randi Garrett Design!
We recently gave our bedroom a small refresh so I was really looking forward to the idea of getting it cozy and festive for the holidays.
I instantly started bringing in all the knits and textures… because if you have visited here a bit you will know these are my favorite ;)…
We also had this smaller noblis fir tree that fit “just right” into the corner of our space next to this writing desk/vanity. It may have been more of a “squeeze”, but I couldn’t resit having a tree with lights in our room.
And because twinkle lights on the tree alone will not do, I added some more above our bed. These are battery operated so they are easy to use and drape wherever you like!
Stockings are hung by satin ribbon from the loopy knit of this chunky blanket.
A winter wreath is attached to our linen headboard while another wreath is embellished on this simple pillow. I love the repetition of shapes and repeat of pattern.
The amber glow is my favorite part of this room. In the morning or at night when I get to sit with the beauty of this sight it makes me feel remininscent of this season.
You may notice those battery operated lights shining down below too… Again, they are wonderful for this very reason, it is easy to place them anywhere for that extra added glow!
I recently made these linen book covers from my friend Liz’s book, A Touch of Farmhouse Charm, you must go check it out!
Pieced together these elements make one cozy spot…
(Cable Knit Throw from Boll and Branch)
It’s really nothing too complicated, just a lot of layered texture, knits and twinkle lights. Easy to replicate in any style room, budget or home.
Our space is quite the small bedroom, but I still have fun dressing it up all the same.
I hope you enjoyed this cozy bedroom tour and I sincerely appreciate you being here today. Make sure to head over to Cindy at Edith and Evelyn for her beautiful bedroom…
Here is the rest of today’s tour as well as the entire week – there is so much beauty to enjoy by each and every one of these talented friends…
