Spring In Our Home – A Tour of Our Living Room and Bedroom
It has been so much fun picking up speed and sharing more and more here over on the blog, can’t tell you how much I appreciate your regular visits… Today is another peek of spring in our home! I am sharing a few spaces at a time throughout each tour this season. Welcome to those of you are visiting from my sweetest and oh so talented friend Lucy at Craftberry Bush. Lucy has been a long time inspiration for me and I know you must think so too!
This year I am keeping things pretty simple. A few plants, flowers and bright colors here and there.
You can see here in our front room I grabbed a bunch of fresh ranunculus and tulips and added them to a bold pot (I stuck a cup of water inside).
I still keep faux furs out as I love the texture and coziness they bring to a space, regardless of the time of year.
This is my most recent DIY wreath that I added for a spring touch not too long ago! It is still going strong ;)…
Heading a little further down the hall, you will find our bedroom. I started by removing our big heavy duvet and kept a warm blanket with a geometric quilt layered on top.
A couple simple blue pillows brighten the space and I moved the basket you saw in the previous room into our bedroom too, lol. I love it and it finds its way everywhere.
More fresh spring flowers are perfect for any space, including nightstands.
Instead of a nightstand on the opposite side of our bed, we have this modern vanity/desk. I use this for getting ready and recently added this chair to enjoy for nightly reading before bed.
Nothing says spring more than gorgeous sunlight and that is my most favorite thing to enjoy this time of year. I have been yearning for the sun!
And that’s it for now, although as I worked around the house today… This old boy kept me sweet company. I caught a little shot of him enjoying the sunshine too ;)…
Now make sure to head on over to Tamara at Citrine Living… I absolutely love her beautiful, sophisticated style. She is a sweetheart too and I know you will agree!
A big thank you to Lory at Designthusiasm and Sheila at Maison de Cinq for hosting this lovely tour!
