Spring in the Sunroom with Soft Blues – Seasonal Simplicity Home Tour
Hello there sweet friends! This is my last leg of spring tours here at our home for the year, I’m finishing things of at our favorite places in the sunroom. Again, you’ll notice some very simple touches of spring here with soft hints of blue. And I am thrilled to be joining Krista at The Happy Housie for the Seasonal Simplicity Home tour! Welcome to those of you who are joining from Cami over at Tidbits… She is the sweetest and her creativity wows me each and every time!
*Jolie Marche sent me some of her beautiful pillow covers to include in our sunroom and I can’t wait to show you them down below!
This will not be the first time you hear me talk about how much I enjoy our sunroom due to the fact that it is full of windows. Where we live, most of the year is spent under grey clouds and drizzly weather… but when spring rolls around it can be magnificent.
And our sunroom really shows off all the glorious sunshine, what a gift. I don’t think I could live here without windows and windows, haha.
The first thing I did to bring more “spring” into this place was swap in some fresh new pillow covers from my friend Kristi at Jolie Marche. You may notice the sweet Petite Spots print pillow and then the Medallion Print above as all.
Here I incorporated one of her Carmen pillows with darling silhouettes of butterflies, peacocks and all things whimsical. I chose to try and incorporate some more earthy natural tones with colors ranging from natural to taupe. Kristi’s shop is just beautiful with so many lovely things to choose from!
Along with the more feminine prints, I also incorporated some bolder and modern patterns.
I love the mixed up nature and how they all work together.
Of course a little bit of color goes a long way and you can find that with these soft blue pillows.
It may be spring, but we are still enjoying fires as the weather fluctuates from snow, rain and occasionally sunshine, lol… In fact, the day I photographed this room it had snowed a lot that morning! Thankfully it melted off by afternoon.
This is the view you will get sitting on our sofa with the coffee table ready for service.
A bit more blue goes a long way with this navy colored pot. I have been loving using plant pots for vases. This one I could actually just put the water straight in as there were no holes for leaking at the base.
Simple tulips are a lovely touch to any spring space. I think they interchange well with spring foliage and any style of decor. The best part is that they are inexpensive. I can always depend on finding an affordable bunch or two this time of year.
Across the way you will see our dining room. This sunroom is long and narrow and we chose to fill it up as our most used living space.
Nothing too fancy in the dining space, a boho chic blue rug and market flowers is all I was craving.
The windows fill with the greenery as all the plants/trees begins to take bloom or grow outside.
These two rooms are slowly coming together with some more things to check off our to-do lists, but I am really feeling so grateful for this place we call home. I’m embracing simple and letting the little additions of tulips, fanciful patterns and blues highlight the vibe in here without making it too complicated. I am finding that to be my favorite way to decorate these days.
I hope it encourages you to enjoy what you have and use a little color, sweet blooms and imagination in your spaces for this beautiful season!
I couldn’t help but share a peek at our little lady’s room with a few more spring touches, including this Jolie Marche Blush Geo Wave Pillow cover… And an adorable bunny storage basket, spring and bunnies go hand in hand right ;)!
Thanks so much for stopping by and please don’t forget to visit my talented friend Jen at The House of Wood, she creates so many incredible things! You will find the rest of the tour listed below as well! Enjoy!

I adore your space! It has beautiful natural light and cozy furnishings, I would never leave this room! So chic and lovely.
I’ve always loved your sun room, Annie. I never tire of seeing it. One of my requirements for any home I live in is … it has to have lots of windows! Cute navy pot, too!
Where are your rugs from?!
Hi! Where did you find your side table?
So beautiful!
Gorgeous spring tour, Annie and I absolutely LOVE those pillows!! Your home is always so light, bright, and fresh feeling! So glad you could be part of this tour series:)
So pretty and peaceful, Annie! Blue is one of my favorite colors to use this time of the year. I love every detail, friend!
Your Spring home is just beautiful! I would be parked on that sofa soaking up the sunshine! XO
My parents had a sunroom when I was growing up, and it was always my favorite spot in the house. I still miss it! Yours is absolutely beautiful, Annie!
your sun room gets me every time annie. thanks for sharing .
I couldn’t agree more on the windows! Having windows makes everything better. I’m sure it really helps when you get so much rain. But also light in general is good no matter where you live. Thanks for showing us around! Your home is beautiful and inviting.
Lovely tour!
