What’s in the Kitchen – Simple Quinoa Recipe
When I first started zevy joy I was beginning our major budget journey. I had learned to create meal plans and shop for them. You can find more information here and here. We are still using this plan and making it work; the only thing that has changed is some of the meals. I decided that since we are on a budget it would be fun to start a series sharing recipes or treats that I make using ingredients I already have at home. I am going to call it, “What’s in the Kitchen” and I hope to share each week.
For this week I am sharing a new favorite of ours, quinoa. I know I am late to the game regarding this dish, but better late than never!
I love it because it is quick and can be changed around easily.
This recipe was adapted from Chelsea’s Messy Apron . It only takes a handful of ingredients and is a one pot wonder.
It is a hit with the kiddos too – so I will be keeping this one on repeat!
Easy and budget friendly! Hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by!
So funny, Annie – I have been making this same dish! A neighbor recently passed along the recipe from Chelsea’s Messy Apron. We love it!
That is too funny Jennifer! It has been my go-to recipe lately… even my kids will eat it =)
