Easy Summer Dining Table
Easy Summer Table Decorating!
How To Set An Easy Summer Dining Table!
Even though we aren’t currently entertaining over here, I still enjoy making things feel a little more special now and then. You know summer is my very favorite season, so getting the table a little more pretty for family dinner just makes me happy… That is why I have joined my friends Ashley from Modern Glam, Janine from Happy Happy Nester and Leslie from My 100 Year Old Home to share Summer Dining Ideas.
Typically the only thing I will spend money on (besides the food 😉 is the flowers for floral arranging. Flowers are a passion of mine and putting an arrangement together is like a hobby to me. It brings me joy… And this arrangement has lots of eucalyptus and some white blooms.
I grabbed some mismatched (thrifted) wooden bowls from my collection in the garage and set them amongst my white dishes.
You may have noticed that most of my arrangements have a combo of florals and fruit…
I think this is a wonderful way to bring so much beauty to the whole set up!
In addition, fruit is significant to the time of season we are in. And lemons just speak summer to me.
I like to also keep things a bit more casual throughout the the summer months. Which you will also notice on my tables too.
I pulled out my honey bee goblets and filled them simply with ice water and again, a slice of lemon.
The fanciest thing partnered on this table with the wood, the white, the straw and greens is the brass flatware.
Having fruit laying next to the flowers is an inexpensive way to decorate. I use this method in my kitchen decor too!
Using a little pattern in your napkins is a great way to keep things interesting and whimsical.
I often will add faux flowers to my florals because this makes things more budget friendly. When they are all mixed together it is often hard to tell them apart.
And there you have it! This is such a simple way to put things together for dining and visiting.
It isn’t a lot of fuss, but it sure feels a little more put together and makes things sweet for any occasion.
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit with me.
And make sure to go and see what my friends are sharing too today… It is always so inspiring!
