A Christmas DIY Gift – Clay Coasters
How To Make An Easy Christmas DIY Gift, Clay Coasters!
Simple DIY Christmas Gift!
I have an easy but pretty DIY Christmas gift idea for you today… Clay coasters! These coasters can be put together quickly and are special because they have that sentimental feel to them. I am joining my friend Krista at The Happy Housie as we all share some DIY gift ideas. Make sure to check them out below.
I used kid’s air – dry clay for this project. To put these coasters together I just rolled large balls of clay flat and then used an large round cookie cutter to make a crisp round disc.
I painted little designs straight on the clay as it was drying with air clay.
I let them dry for at least 48 hours to ensure they are firm.
I will end up spraying these with varnish or acrylic sealer to make sure that they actually are protected. Although I would note that these may not be the best for really wet/dripping glasses.
This was so fun to put together and would be a great craft for kids too!
