Hello friends and welcome to a very special day here on the blog, one of my favorites and it is all a part of Jennifer Rizzo’s Holiday Housewalk tour! These tours are so very special, as they give you a look into many lovely homes and you can leave with loads of inspiration. These tours are all things “home” and exactly what you dream up for Christmas decor. I am honored to join and so happy to get to share with you! If you are visiting from my sweet friend Lauren at Blesser House welcome! Lauren is a DIY genius and has such a beautiful way with her home…
And without further ado, here is our Christmas home tour all decorated for the season!
I like to pretend that this tour would greet you as if I were welcoming you at my door, which is exactly where we will start =). Right here where our little home begins…
Again, I know you have heard me say it before and I will say it now, I wanted simple this year. And so simple it was! Fresh greenery hung above the doorway with some smaller trees flanking the entry. A wreath finishes the look off with a few darling brass bells.
Right inside our front, door you find your way into our formal living room (which I will be sharing more in the future). But there is this sweet little corner where I can get some work done. My hubby and kids use it quite often too. All I did here was place some fresh cut greens in a vase. Just that easy!
As you make your way down our very long hallway, you will enter into the kitchen. Where I like to display my favorite flowers and have a candle lit to add that extra ambience.
This particular day that I was photographing our home, the sun was out and bright, making everything extra golden and magical. Garland was the only thing I really added in this room and it was just the right touch.
Across from the kitchen is our sunroom. I have changed things up a little in here and am enjoying the new look. I did add an extra tree in here because the room is super long and I felt this would be a fun twist to the traditional arrangement we have had the past 9 years.
This tree matches the one that is set next to the fireplace, filled with metallic ornaments and some newer special ones to carry us through the years to come. The beginning of a tradition I was excited to start this year.
We have everything from shimmery Santa Claus’ to Golden dinosaurs hanging on both.
My kids are loving it and so are the hubby and I!
Who can blame them when a t-rex stares you down from these twinkly branches, haha.
The trees are kitty cornered making them mirror each other nicely.
My littlest has loved pulling an ornament off the tree and playing with it, only to return it later and admire it some more.
Less details overall this year than years before, but just as precious. Like these darling bells hung from the garland. I noticed my friend Lucy at Craftberry Bush had put these tiny twinkly lights on her garland, so I went and grabbed some myself. It adds just the perfect amount of light to the area!
I have especially treasured the tree next to our fireplace, amongst the glow.
And here is a peek into our family room space. All cozy for Holiday movies and memories to be made.
My daughter has been asking to take pictures more and more and I will admit, my heart melts a bit that she enjoys trying to learn something that she sees me doing. Here is a pic she got as my tripod was set up and my oldest read his new library book to me.
By the tree is truly the best place to be.
Thank you so much for visiting with me and what a compliment that you would tour our home. A very big thank you to Jen at Jennifer Rizzo for hosting! Please make sure to follow along with the tour. Kristen from Ella Claire is first up tomorrow, so make sure to check back and see her gorgeous home!

Simply stunning Annie! And what a wonderful thing having your daughter take a picture (and placing it in this post)… it’s the moments, the memories that make this whole space come to life.

Elizabeth I so appreciate that, thank you and for stopping by!
You have a beautiful home and just enough Christmas to take it over the top. Love the look of the table and different chairs and bench.
Your trees are lovely. I love the room between the branches that lets the ornaments really shine. Are they real
So pretty! Where did you find the beautiful bowl holding the greens on your dining table? I’ve been looking for something like that but haven’t found it yet. Thanks!
Did you spray paint the t-rex? My grandson loves dinosaurs. Wanted to get him some dino ornaments for his tree.
I love this! Where did you get the basket for the tree? Love it so much!
Hi! I love the sparse/ natural look of your tree, can you please tell me where you got it from??
