Simple Chocolate Crescent Rolls
One of our family traditions is to have a treat on Saturday mornings. Some type of special breakfast – waffles, pancakes, muffins or croissants. This would be another reason why I have been sharing some of our recipes because they have been fun to bake as a family and then share with you!
I also enjoy simple recipes with fewer steps and great taste. Which makes this recipe a perfect fit. This recipe was adapted from the one shared at (Sally’s Baking Addiction).
All you will need is refrigerated cresent roles, chocolate chips, and powdered sugar (optional).
- Follow the packaging instructions for baking temperature.
- When the roles are flat and open, sprinkle a small handful of chocolate chips.
- Then begin rolling them up, starting with the larger side of the triangle (enclosing all the chocolate).
- Place them on a cookie sheet and again follow packaging recommendation for baking time.
This recipe can be varied with all kinds of fillings and topped with fruit, powdered sugar, glaze etc…
It is a simple recipe that can be whipped up quickly without having many things on hand. It is a fun treat in moderation and I hope you enjoy trying it out!
