Elegant Christmas Entertaining, An Evergreen Arrangement Tablescape
Easy And Elegant Christmas Entertaining…
How To Create An Elegant Christmas Tablescape!
Setting a tablescape is something I look forward to any time there is an occasion for one… It is such a fun way to express your style for the season and make things feel more special and inviting. I set this elegant Christmas tablescape with evergreen branches and festive colors. I am joining Kristen from Ella Claire & Co. to share these entertaining ideas. It is all part of the Seasons of Home series that Kristen hosts each year and it is such an honor to participate.
I actually set this table up at my mama’s apartment while she was away at work for the day. She has a nice round table that reminds me of our last home. She also is holding onto our dining chairs until we move again so this felt fun to dress up and share with you!
I squeezed six settings around the table and love how cozy it felt.
It was a little too tight to get candlesticks around the centerpiece, but I was able to fit a nice sized arrangement and glassware on there!
Through the years I have really grown to enjoy incorporating fruit in and out of the centerpiece. It just adds a little something extra to the whole look.
Since I was going for elegant, I including lots of gold and to tone it down a bit I also used linen textiles.
I had this beautiful linen table cloth that Tyler and I had found antiquing on one of our anniversary trips a couple years ago.
And funny thing is, I wanted fresh eucalyptus and green stems…
But they didn’t have any at the store, they were sold out the day before Thanksgiving…
Instead, we grabbed the little evergreen stems they did have and then a preassembled fragrant evergreen swag as well!
I just pulled it apart and used it the same way as bunches of flowers.
I threw in some fresh lilies in colors of white and rich purple.
I always like to make sure and mix both fresh and faux evergreens.
Some brown and green magnolia leaves really complete the whole look!
Since I did not have a Christmas tree and all those pretty twinkle lights in my background that I usually do…
I threw some fairy lights around the centerpiece and then I even strung some up on the wall with thumb tacks!
There are so many ways to get creative and enjoy using what you have on hand to make a space feel magical!
Once everything was pulled together…
This may have become one of my favorite tablescapes I have ever created!
I hope it inspires you this sweet season and your visits mean more than you know!
