How To Make Dairy Free Peppermint Chocolate Truffles!
Can you ever tire of sweets this time of year?! I say no! Haha… In all seriousness there are so many amazing recipes out there and what a wonderful time of year to enjoy them all. I have really been trying to broaden my menu of things we can eat with food sensitivities… That is where I came up with these delicious dairy free peppermint chocolate truffles! To make these sweet little truffles you will just need a handful of ingredients!
- 16 oz. cashew butter
- coconut flour
- cocoa powder
- peppermint extract
- maple syrup
- coconut oil
To make a batch of these…
You simply mix all of the ingredients in one bowl! Then just use a small cookie scoop or get small mounds onto parchment paper and a cookie tray.
I set these in the freezer until firm. I wanted them to be even more round, so after letting them chill nice and hard… I took the cookie scoop and scooped each one once more so that they came out in a round shape.
I carefully rolled them in the cocoa powder and then placed them in mini cupcake liners.
That was it and these cute truffles were ready to be enjoyed! You will want to keep them in the freezer as they thaw they get too soft. So make sure to know that when serving or gifting.
