How To Make a Floral Easter Basket!

Hello friends… Yesterday I enjoyed sharing a fun easter egg project and today I am showing you how you can make a creative floral easter basket! Because we are not getting out right now, I had to shop my garage for this project… Which I actually love, because shopping your house to decorate or craft makes things a challenge. I always love to see what I can come up with during a little crafting challenge!

Here is what you will need if you attempt this project too!

• A Easter basket or any basket
• Faux florals
• Glue gun with glue sticks

Here is how I put this all together…

Much like my DIY wreaths this project just requires very carefully (because glue guns are hot) gluing pieces of faux florals around the form (in this case it is a basket not a wreath).

I kinda played around with placing pieces before gluing, so I could get an idea of how it would look first.

Then I adhered it all on with the hot glue.

I wanted this basket to be functional, so I made sure the handle wasn’t too busy with florals so that my Everly could still hold it.

I also wanted it to have a whimsical feel so I didn’t overcrowd it with flowers either.

And that was it! So very easy…

For good measure I filled it up with moss and yesterday’s Easter egg project (the eggs ;).

I was really happy with how it all pulled together!

And that I didn’t spend a dime on this project!

Those kinds of projects are the best, aren’t they?!
