Fall Home Tour

Good Morning and welcome to our home.  I have been sharing our home for a while now and it seems like I keep moving decorations around. So for today, here is what our home looks like as we enjoy autumn and all the fun fall delivers.

If you step through our front door you will land in our very long hallway with our sweet pup, Wyatt who is there to greet you.

Move down the way and you will find yourself in our kitchen.  I recently bought this foxglove to plant in the yard but decided I liked it better as a house plant (at least for now).

Up a tiny step and here is where we spend our times over warm cooked meals prepared during this cooler season.  Or an occasional box of Mac n Cheese on those very busy nights (keeping it real). Grapevine wreaths and simple Rosemary bunches adorn the table.

To the right, is our favorite place in our home.  Where we spend the most time and has the best view; because we get to spend time here visiting and sharing each others stories.

The coffee table is topped with a basket of faux pumpkins that is easy to move so cars can race around the track or puzzles can be pieced together.

Texture fills the space with some muted greens and grays as the temperatures drop outside and frosty mornings begin to line the window sills.

Heading back out to the front entrance you will catch our office/guest room/playroom.  Here is a place for guests to stay or where we can get some work done (at least we pretend to).

My DIY sweater deer is back for the change of seasons and this room is a neutral pallette.  More texture, some greens and plaid.

Not to forget the new additon of this DIY fur stool (tutorial over at Craftberry Bush).

Summer hangs on for a bit with driftwood pieces from the beach, and stuffed terrariums. Fall can be as simple as pumpkins, texture and really just decorating with what you have or makes you happy.  It doesn’t have to be fancy or even creative.  A single pumpkin or plaid throw is just right.  I hope you enjoy this season as before we know it, winter will be here.  Thanks for stopping by to share our home and have a wonderful rest of your week~

  1. so lovely! I really love your natural, textural style! Can you please tell us the color of your walls? Thank you so much!

  2. I absolutely love how you styled your home for fall – it is beautiful and I have gotten so many wonderful ideas! I am considering purchasing the metal chairs you have at your table. Can you tell me if they are comfortable to sit in for at least an hour? I have read so many conflicting reviews which doesn’t help me at all, especially with my furniture commitment issues!

    1. Thank you so much Liz! We love our metal chairs and find them comfortable. Ours have higher backs so that may help. They are great with kids too – easy clean ups, etc… I appreciate you stopping by and please share if you get them!
