The First Reveal Of Our Kitchen!

What a week you all! Thanks so much for visiting with me as I share these really fun updates in our home for our family… Today I get to show you a reveal for the first phase of our kitchen renovation! It has been a few months of really hard work, so getting to share this is very exciting for us. We are thrilled to get to partner with some wonderful companies such as Caesarstone, Ornamental Molding and Signature Hardware, as part of this makeover! Here is a good before of our kitchen so you can see what it looked like when we moved in…

And here is the after!!!

As I talked about yesterday, we took out the upper cabinets over here and chose to do full counter to ceiling tile. Then we removed all of the tile countertops and replaced them with beautiful Caesarstone Calacutta Nuvo countertops…

I have always had honed countertops high on my list of dream kitchen materials and these do not disappoint! The sheen is so lovely and the pattern is exquisite. The Calcutta Nuvo is a creamy white with gray streaks throughout…

When picking out our countertops, I had some other things on my list that were also important to me. For example, Caesarstone quartz is non porous, durable, easy to clean, hygienic, heat/scratch resistant and environmentally friendly (that is just the beginning)!

The quality is superb as well, Caesarstone has excellent safety standards and values sustainability. They are even manufactured here in the U.S.

They also offer a variety of different surface finishes (just another reason I was drawn to Caesarstone). The colors work really well with the cabinet paint I chose (Stingray) and our new installed tile too!

Knowing that the design was centered around Coastal/Ranch style, I wanted things to feel soft and bright without being stark white. So lots of creamy whites, soft hues and both warmness/coolness at the same time.

We incorporated Ornamental Moldings Faux Wood beams just as we did in the family room. These really help bring warmth to the entire space as well as that rustic feel I was craving too!

Ornamental Molding offers everything from decorative moldings – decorative accessories. They do not disappoint as they are well made and can be stained to your preference. We stained these with a Special Walnut stain.

Another huge bonus is how simple it is to install these beams. I would love to add them to more spaces throughout our home in the future!

You may also notice the amazing 33″ Grigham Reversible Fireclay Farmhouse Sink in White that we installed in place of the old sink in there too… It came from Signature Hardware and is the nicest/largest sink we have ever owned.

The material is fireclay and is well made!!! We added the sink grid and it is really convenient. Doing dishes is no longer a chore (especially in front of a window). I have never had a window by our sink before and this is the best!

Phase 1 Of Our Kitchen Renovation Reveal!

Decorating a kitchen is one of my favorite things to do in our home and holding off to do that was quite the obstacle, lol… So you can imagine my happiness when the time finally came to pull out some of my most special kitchen decorations.

Speaking of displaying decor, Ty and I also built this rustic/worn shelf.

Phase 1 Of Our Kitchen Renovation Reveal!

I was really hoping to find something vintage, but didn’t have any luck. So we went to work making something ourselves and I have to say, it turned out just as I had envisioned it! We used Jenna Sue Design’s tutorial for weathering wood and it works wonders.

Here is the other side of the kitchen too. So even though we got rid of our upper cabinetry storage we have this whole other side of cabinetry that holds our pantry/dishes.

On another little side note, the current window we have is really old and needing to be replaced. Until that day comes, we chose to add some faux grids and they are great… You can’t even tell they are faux!

Phase 2 of our kitchen renovation will include new appliances from Café Appliances and different colored fixtures. We can’t wait and I will make sure to share that once it is all installed.

We are so grateful for this sweet kitchen of ours and to the companies we are working with. A big thank you to Caesarstone, Ornamental Molding and Signature Hardware for sponsoring this post! And thank you to all of you for taking the time to stop by, encourage and check this all out. It means so much!
