Kitchen Counter To Ceiling Tile In Our Renovated Kitchen!

Welcome back friends! I can’t believe that I get to share this post with you today, because it means the first round of renovations is done in our kitchen and we couldn’t be happier! We had the joy of partnering with TileBar to make our tile vision come to life… And it is so good!

As you can see, we chose to get rid of all of our upper cabinets in this kitchen (you can see all the before’s here too) and open things up. I knew from very early on that I wanted to do counter to ceiling tile and I loved the idea of tile that resembled the sheen of shells for that coastal look I desired… TileBar had the most beautiful selection and I quickly decided that we would go with the Montauk Gin 4×4 Ceramic Wall Tile.

What is especially nice about TileBar is the you can order 5 samples for $5… This allows you to take a look at the tiles you are considering in person. You can hold them and compare them with the other design elements in your project as well. As soon as we received our samples I got to work on deciding. While it was a hard decision, I was drawn to the Montauk Gin color in the size 4×4.

This tile is so pretty from every angle and looks just beautiful in every light! The sun just bounces around the kitchen and I couldn’t love it more!

We decided to go with a staggered pattern for the layout as I wanted to feel classic/traditional. We plan to keep this kitchen design for many years to come =).

I couldn’t recommend TileBar more because of the incredible selection of tiles, sample process and the quality of the product! Please make sure to check back tomorrow as I will be sharing a full look of this first phase of our kitchen… It has been such a dream to design. And friends, I hope you know how much I appreciate you and your encouragement through it all!

A very big thank you to TileBar for sponsoring this post!
