Style Post – Dressing up your Shorts

As we move through the month of May, the weather still presents challenges when dressing for early Summer. I am wanting to wear shorts but they are not always practical with overcast mornings and light rain occasionally. So I have been dressing my shorts up with tunics and booties. Accessorizing with hats on wet days also helps! Have fun with your wardrobe and make it work for you. I am trying to worry less about what is on trend and more about what I feel good in, can run around after my kids and feel most like myself when I am wearing an outfit! I was able to keep this outfit on a budget using simple denim shorts a thrifted vintage top and my accessories.
