How To Make Maple Pecan Granola and Baked Pears!
Fall is just around the corner, which means fall baking is too! One of my favorite things to do during this season, is to make fun recipes for my kids… They know as the temperatures cool and there is a chill in the air, there is also the sweet aroma and delicious treats baking inside. Which is why I am excited to be joining Kristen at Ella Claire & Co. for her Tastes of the Seasons Series! Today I am sharing a simple fall breakfast recipe, maple pecan granola with baked pears.
This is the third version of granola I am sharing here on the blog… This one my be my favorite!
This recipe also happens to be so quick to make and looks elegant (almost too pretty to eat)!
You just mix up the granola ingredients, bake… Then while that bakes, you prepare and bake the pears… And while those bake, you mix up the cream!
Let everything cool for a bit and then layer it all on top of each other and serve!
This is such a fun alternative to the traditional breakfast dish…
The pears brown perfectly while baking, in harmony with the colors of autumn.
The cream rounds the taste of the sweet flavors perfectly!
As a little side note, I do like to chill the cream before serving. This makes it easier to scoop up and serve.
