Today I wanted to give you a look around the rest of the room. This room is very small so we took out the closet doors and put a small dresser inside (which was used as a changing table when she was a baby) with a sweet little chandelier. Her nursery can be viewed here.
I was so excited to add a few new additions to her space including some lovely canvases from Canvas HQ. Starting with this beautiful horse. The photograph was taken by my very talented friend Chloe at Boxwood Avenue who will soon be offereing this photo on postcards and more in her shop here.
This canvas was the perfect size for her whimsical/enchanting space and is high quality. The colors are rich and looks just like the original photograph.
(DIY Canopy can be found here).
Our girl is a huge fan of anything pony or horse. Her favorite cartoons, toys and books revolve around these magnificent animals so it was fun to incorportate this statement piece.

Around the corner is a picture I have of her playing in our living room. She dresses up with my big hats and travels around with her stuffed animals; I loved capturing this moment. Now I can have it in here on this canvas to keep as a fun memory…
Lastly, there is her loved pretend kitchen where she bakes up sweet treats and delicious meals. It was a bright pink for a few years and with her room change, I gave it a few coats of chalk paint. Above it hangs another canvas with a favorite quote by L.M. Montgomery.
Canvas HQ took this beloved quote and turned it into a beautiful reminder to be enjoyed for many years to come.
It was such a treat to put this room together and share with you the thought behind the design and its update.
Each of these canvases bring a personal touch to her room and I couldn’t be happier.
I hope she enjoys it as she grows and that this room inspires imagination and big dreams.
Thanks so much for stopping by to see it and I hope you have a wonderful start to your week!
