Organic Looking Christmas Mantel
Our Organic Looking Christmas Mantel!
How To Create An Organic Looking Christmas Mantel!
I have so enjoyed decorating our home these last few weeks. After finishing the Christmas tree here in our living room, I moved on to the mantel. This year I did things a little bit different and made an organic looking mantel with draping greenery, candlelight, tall stems and knit stockings. I am joining Kristen from Ella Claire & Co. to share Christmas mantels, so make sure to visit all these beautiful homes below!
The last few years I have done an asymmetrical style and this time I wanted something a bit more centered.
To create this look, I used a magnolia garland and then some shorter strands of pine looking garland.
Hooks help hold it all in place. I made sure to let little pieces drape off of the edges in a natural way.
I usually have a tree in the corner there by the lamp, so I decided to create some height with a vase and stems.
I really just kept things simple with only having there be greenery… But I did go kind of big/dramatic so it all kind of evens things out.
I layered in candlelight which makes everything more magical!
Some pinecones and fairy lights make it rustic and elegant all at the same time.
The knit stockings bring everything together and give it that cozy vibe that invites you in.
And that is it! I can’t wait to show you everything all together soon!
Thanks so much for stopping by and here are my friends sharing today too…
