How To Make a Marshmallow Hot Cocoa Stirrer For Gifting!

It’s that time to start putting gifts together and a homemade treat is always a great gift! Today I am sharing how to make these easy, sweet and darling marshmallow hot cocoa stirrers. They could be paired with a cute coffee mug and make the perfect present. All you will need to make this sweet gift is extra large marshmallows, melting chocolate (found even at the craft store), candy canes and crushed candy canes (you can buy this crushed or DIY if needed). To assemble these you will first create a hole into the top of the marshmallow. I used a small knife carefully to cut an x on top so that the candy cane could be inserted. Then you will take a candy cane cut off the U shaped part so you are left with a stick and insert the candy cane stick into the top of the marshmallow. Next you will simply melt the chocolate, dip the marshmallow (which should now have the candy cane inserted). Once you get could coverage you can roll it into the crushed candy cane. I found doing all of this on parchment paper worked really well. If you don’t have crushed candy cane, you can put candy canes into a ziplock and crush them yourself.
